Becoming a Member of Sudden Pitch 

To join Sudden Pitch you need the written recommendation of three current members, along with a completed Membership Application. It’s important to note that the submission of the application is not a guarantee of acceptance, but an entrance into the process.

Membership Types

Sudden Pitch is proud to offer multiple memberships to appeal to a variety of new families, individuals, and existing members as their circumstances change. For more information regarding the pricing and requirements contact us anytime to discuss.

  • Our most popular membership!

    • Full family privileges (a family is comprised of up to 2 adults and any dependent, unmarried children under the age of 25 that reside at the primary residence)

    • Full access to pool, tennis, events, clubhouse, clinics, leagues, and lessons for all family members

    • Stockholder (includes voting rights)

    • One adult member ONLY

    • Full privileges and access to pool, tennis, events, clubhouse, clinics, leagues, and lessons

    • No Stockholder status

      • Grandfathered Stockholder: Membership conversion from Regular Family to Individual Adult for someone who paid the full community Fee would retain their stockholder status.

    • One or two adults ONLY (no children)

    • Full privileges and access to pool, tennis, events, clubhouse, clinics, leagues, and lessons for both adults

    • Minimum legacy requirements must be met

    • Community Fee (one time) - None

    • Stockholder (includes voting rights)

    1. The requirements for application for Special Membership are that the member shall have been a stockholder for a minimum of ten (10) years and, either:

    2. The member’s youngest child living at home is over the age of 16 by January 1st of the current membership year, or

    3. The member has moved their primary place of residence outside of a twenty-five (25) mile radius of Manchester.

    4. Application must be made in writing to the Board of Directors and received by them by March 1st of the current membership year.

    5. Acceptance will be by a unanimous vote of the Board of Directors in accordance with the bylaws.

    6. Members who have been accepted for Special Membership must resign from regular membership, relinquish voting rights, and sign the Special Membership Agreement (for the first year only), returning same to the Board.

    7. Special Membership eligibility, once having been established, will be a continual status unless application is made for a change or revoked by the Board for misuse.

    8. Special Members will be invited to all social functions and have full rights with regard to bringing guests, signing up and paying as usual.

    9. Special Members have full use of all the facilities of the Club, subject to limitations set by the Board of Directors.

    10. Use of the pool and/or tennis courts shall be limited to no more than twenty (20) days per season.

    11. Special Members are not entitled to swimming lessons or tennis clinics.

    12. Although nonvoting members, Special Members are encouraged to actively participate and convey their ideas, concerns and suggestions to the Board.

    13. Participation on Club Tennis Leagues is made on a space available basis.
